Elana Hedrych is the founder of The Vocal Practice, a voice studio in New York City built for contemporary singers who want more than vocal technique. She coaches artists across jazz, pop, rock, and indie styles through an approach that blends evidence-based voice pedagogy with real artistic development— connecting vocal technique, musicianship, performance, and creative identity into one process.
Her training spans Somatic Voicework™ the LoVetri Method, voice science, and speech-language pathology, backed by voice performance degrees from Berklee College of Music and Hunter College, and a speech pathology postbaccalaureate from Northwestern University. She brings over 14 years of teaching alongside her own background as a performer, songwriter, and recording artist.
Frequently Asked QuestionsIs this right for me?
-
In a free consultation, we have twenty minutes to discuss you, your voice, your career, and your goals. I collect some information about you, you can ask me any questions you have, and we can both figure out if it feels like a good fit.
-
The Membership is limited to 12 clients at a time to maintain a high level of attention and between-session support. So if there is an available slot and it’s the right thing for you at the right time, heck yes!
-
I work with clients in New York City in both Washington Heights and midtown, online, and hybrid. Many clients love hybrid for the flexibility it provides.
